Members and Friends, please join us on April 15 for our Membership Meeting and educational session

This will be an IN PERSON meeting at the University of Missouri Extension Center at 260 Brown Road in St. Peters.

The club meeting will begin at 7:00.  You can come early – 6:00 PM –  for Q&A with experienced beekeepers.

The meeting will include an exciting speaker that will help you to take your beekeeping to the next level.

Lonnie Grosman is a resident of the St. Louis area. He has been a beekeeper for 8 years, starting with 2 colonies, growing to 25 but making sales and holding at 12. Within his 8 apiaries he has dealt with wax moths, robbing, varroa, and other problems that bee colonies face.

Lonnie is in his second year of the Master Beekeeper course at Cornell University. He forwards his knowledge and experience to his friends, family, mentees and schools. Additionally, he is a member of ThreeRiversBeekeepers and a member of the steering committee. He operates his own business selling as “Honey by Pops Bees” at St. Louis County farmers markets.

Lonnie is “Pops” a.k.a. the “Boss Bee” and he says his wife is, of course, his Queen Bee.

Snacks welcome!

You can attend in person or Zoom into the meeting.  If you will be joining us by Zoom, register in advance for this webinar.
