Members and Friends, please join us again in June for a special Membership Meeting by Webinar.  The meeting will feature Clarence Collison presenting “Colony Management For Maximum Honey Production“!

Honey production is dependent on having large colony populations coinciding with local honey flows.  Management practices must be aimed toward fully utilizing the reproductive capacity of the colony and managing the swarming impulse.  There is a basic relationship between brood/adult populations that determines the rate of colony development.

Clarence H. Collison is an Emeritus Professor of Entomology and Emeritus Head of the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at Mississippi State University. Throughout his career he has taught beekeeping, trained graduate students, written numerous beekeeping publications and participated in many educational programs for the beekeeping community. He writes the monthly column “A Closer Look” and prior to that “Do You Know?” for Bee Culture and has published two books.

Clarence’s presentation will be followed by our TRB Q&A Panel, where you can ask ANYTHING about Beekeeping and get the advice you need.

Monday June 15th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm (CST) – please note the earlier start to the meeting.

For logistical reasons this will only include members of Three Rivers Beekeepers or friends of the club (actively working on their membership by attending at least one meeting in the past year).  You will receive a confirmation email if your registration is successful that includes the information needed to join the webinar.

You must pre-register for this event.  Registration will close on Sunday June 14th at noon.  We do not have the resources to help with the technical issued or manage registration on the day of the event. You can register with the link below:
