Keith Breisch is a hobbyist beekeeper with six years of experience who transitioned from Langstroth hives to six Slovenian AZ hybrid hives housed in a dedicated shed five years ago. His beekeeping journey explores the challenges of managing splits and supplying Langstroth nucs as resource hives, while examining the pros and cons of AZ (Slovenian) hives. The presentation also includes insights into hive construction and customization, along with the innovative use of 3D printing for beekeeping tools and components.
