Please join us in October for our General Membership Meeting.

Pre-meeting Question & Answer session will start at 6:00 PM.

At 7:00 pm the club meeting will begin.  Our speaker and topic will Gary Mazdra.  Gary is the MODOT roadside manager for our regio).  He will talk about the MO DOT roadside habitat management programs, and then talk about hive management for a sustainable apiary with overwintering nucs instead of buying bees in the spring.

Gary Mazdra has recently been named Modot’s Roadside Manager for the St. Louis area.  Gary has a love of nature and the outdoors and has a background in horticulture.  He became a beekeeper 5 years ago, and is a member of Jefferson County Beekeeper’s Association where he helps to manage their clubs’ hives.
